The Rev. Dr. Ed Matthews was a dear friend to Calico Rock. He was born and raised in Old Joe and he never forgot where he came from. He was a founding member of our board of trustees and was a champion and cheerleader for our museum until the day the Lord called him home. Ed pulled out his checkbook and wrote the first check to the foundation in 2008. His $500 check let us open our bank account and the rest is history. Help us honor Ed's contribution with a tax-deductible gift today.

Every day the Calico Rock Community Foundation is making a difference in our community.  We bring our history and art to life at the Calico Rock Museum.  We connect incarcerated fathers with their children through the Storybook Project. We preserve and renovate our historic places. We support our local small businesses. We educate our future generations. We are changing Calico Rock!

Help Us Thank Jill Easton

Jill Easton may have been born in Mississippi, but her passion for Calico Rock runs deep. She fell in love with the Ozarks and her passion for history and art made her a natural choice for our board of trustees. Jill was instrumental in creating our endowment fund. She volunteer countless hours helping put together exhibits and teaching young people about early settlers, especially trapping. Jill is wrapping up 10 years of faithful service to the foundation. Jill Easton becomes the first woman to be named a trustee emeritus. Help us thank Jill for her service with a tax-deductible gift today.
